Theresa A. Bissonnette

Theresa was previously the Director of Quality at North Texas Specialty Physicians, an Independent Physician Association (IPA) based in Fort Worth, Texas where she oversaw the Quality and Risk Adjustment Departments for both the IPA and their Medicare Advantage Plans in Texas and North Carolina. A Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, she has extensive experience in health care quality and leading project management and coding teams to improve the quality of care delivered to patients. Before North Texas Specialty Physicians, Theresa was the Senior Manager of Corporate Programs for Physicians United Plan, a Medicare Advantage Plan in Orlando, Florida. Theresa has also worked in several positions within the long-term care industry including Director of Social Services and Consultant for skilled nursing facilities and Quality Monitor for Community Care, Inc., a long-term care organization aimed at helping aged and disabled Wisconsin residents live as independently as possible.
Theresa graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Medical Sociology and completed her M.B.A. at the University of Phoenix in Orlando, Florida.
Theresa joined ESP in October of 2017 as the Director of Quality and assumed the role of Vice President of Compliance and Quality in September of 2019.
